We would like to make you aware of a change, especially if you are traveling outside the country in the near future. Beginning November 1, 2009, Maine Family will be blocking all foreign activity of our debit cards. Fraud has been steadily on the rise, with the internet and counterfeit cards being the most common methods used by thieves to conduct fraudulent transactions. Please contact us at 783-2071 if you are traveling overseas or want to make foreign purchases over the internet using your debit card. We can then temporarily modify your cards to accept foreign transactions in real time. Thank you and safe travels!

ATM, Visa Check Card and Visa Credit Card holders have been targeted by the most recent telephone scam. Card holders receive a telephone message stating that their card is over the limit and that they will be charged a $60 fee unless they call the 800# provided in the message. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!
When the card holder calls the 800#, they are prompted to enter their social security number and their card number. Once the information is entered, the call ends. DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSONAL, ACCOUNT INFORMATION, CARD NUMBERS, OR PASSWORDS TO A CALLER.
If you mistakenly disclose information relating to your Maine Family Federal Credit Union cards or accounts, call Member Services at 783-2071.
