Maine Family Federal Credit Union Hosts Successful Annual Meeting

Lewiston, ME – Maine Family Federal Credit Union held its 86th annual meeting on Sunday, March 24, 2024, showcasing another year of growth, community engagement, and member participation. With approximately 75 members in attendance, the event was a testament to the credit union’s dedication to transparency and member involvement.

The annual meeting served as a platform for members to gain insight into the credit union’s performance, strategic direction, and upcoming initiatives. It provided an opportunity for open dialogue between the leadership team and the membership, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.

Key highlights of the annual meeting include:

  • Election of Board Members: Three board positions were up for election during the meeting. The nomination process, led by Steve Roy, CEO of Tricorp Federal Credit Union, resulted in the election of two new board members, Christopher Hodgkins and Robert Papsis, bringing fresh perspectives and expertise to the leadership team. Additionally, Donna LeBrun was re-elected for a three-year term, reaffirming the trust and confidence members have in the credit union’s governance.
  • Commitment to Member Engagement: Maine Family FCU remains committed to fostering meaningful relationships with its members. The annual meeting served as a platform for members to voice their opinions, ask questions, and actively participate in shaping the credit union’s future. Through such engagement initiatives, Maine Family FCU continues to prioritize the needs and preferences of its diverse membership base.
  • Partnership with Community Little Theatre: The Maine Family FCU annual meeting was held at the L-A Community Little Theatre in Auburn. The meeting concluded with a sneak peek of musical numbers performed by the cast of Spring Awakening, CLT’s spring production which runs from April 5 through April 14.
