Maine Family FCU Announces 2025 Scholarship Recipients
Maine Family Federal Credit Union is proud to announce the recipients of its annual scholarship program, recognizing outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. After carefully considering a large field of qualified candidates, the credit union awarded three scholarships to local students who have demonstrated exceptional promise and dedication to their academic pursuits.
The scholarship recipients for 2025 are:
The Founders Scholarship
Kimberly Madore, Lewiston High School, Class of 2025
Kimberly has a remarkable academic record and a passion for community service, consistently demonstrating determination and diligence both inside and outside the classroom. She has a passion for both science and storytelling and plans to major in biology while continuing to pursue writing, either through a minor or independently. Kimberly’s goal is to become a neuroscience researcher and one day publish work that blends scientific discovery with the written word.
The Maurice Fontaine, Sr. Scholarship
Emma Bourgoin, Oak Hill High School, Class of 2025
Emma has demonstrated extraordinary resilience and determination in the face of adversity. Despite myriad hardships, Emma has remained focused on building a brighter future through her education. With a deep desire to help others and serve as a role model for children facing similar challenges, Emma is pursuing a college career with a passion for making a positive impact. This scholarship represents an important step toward achieving that goal.
The Roger Bissonnette Scholarship
Brayden Greenlaw, Leavitt Area High School, Class of 2024; University of Maine, Class of 2028
Brayden is entering his sophomore year at University of Maine in Orono, where he is double majoring in marketing and sports management. A lifelong athlete, Brayden is pursuing a career in sports marketing and aspires to work with collegiate athletes on Name-Image-Likeness brand deals. Brayden was named to the Dean’s List his freshman year and is also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.
Each of these deserving recipients has demonstrated not only academic excellence but also a genuine commitment to using their education to create a better future for themselves and their communities.
